Gosh Lip Liner Review

Hia Ladies, today's post is about my all time favourite lip liner, Gosh's Velvet Touch lip liner in Nougat Crisp! I am obsessed with the product. Its amazing! Its the  most creamiest lip liner I have ever used, it applies like a dream. It doesn't tug my lips like most liners do. It is is so pigmented. Once applied it will stay on for hours even after eating and drinking or even kissing ;)

Another thing I love about this lip liner is that it does not move or spread outside the lip line. I find that sometimes lipsticks and lip liners tend to move a little and spread but this doesn't!

The colour Nougat Crisp is just a shade or two darker than my natural lips. Which I love because If I am looking to make my lips look really full I will apply it to the outsides of my lips ans add some gloss but if I am looking to simply make my lips look better I will apply this all over my lips and leave it like that and it gives my lips that your lips but better look.

I can't recommend this lip liner enough, they do other shades too which I am for sure going to get my hands on them. If you haven't noticed I am huge fan of Gosh products. I think if you haven't checked them out you should as their so affordable and amazing quality and highly pigmented.

So that's it all for today, thank you so much for reading.
Have a great day wherever you are,
Lots of love, Martina xx

Gosh Bronzer Review

Hello Ladies, today I have another post on a new purchase of mine that I have quickly falling in love with, its the Gosh bronzer in shade 02 Natural Glow. I have been looking for a long time for a bronzer that will suit my pale skin and not look like I just slapped muck on my face or look orange on me. But the hunt is now over, thanks to my beautiful friend Shelly aka Shellx85x on Youtube! She was doing her July favourites and she mentioned this amazing bronzer and I am so thankful she did! Although I'm paler than Shelly it work perfect on my skin!

This bronzer is perfect for us paler girls who are looking for a nice matt bronzer too contour with or just to warm up your face! I apply this is the hollows of my cheeks, my temples and top of my forehead just to create a shadow and make my forehead look shorter and my cheek bones stand out. I also like to apply some under neath my chin to create a shadow and hide my double chin and it works wonderful and looks so natural. Its highly pigmented and a little goes along way. It also only costs 13.99 which in my opinion is cheap and well worth the money.

I have tried all sorts of bronzers from chemist/drugstore to high end I have never found one to suit my skin as well as they has. Most of the others made me look orange or muddy and nobody wants to look like that! I would highly recommend this bronzer specially to all those pale ladies like me!

I would also like to suggest that you check out my amazing friend Shelly's Youtube channel. She does beauty videos and pregnancy videos! Shes beautiful inside and out and you will love her instantly like I did!

Thanks again for reading I appreciate your support so much. Lots of love, Martina xxx

Collection 2000 Shimmer Shades Review

Hia Ladies so I wanted to share with you something that I have been obsessed with for almost a year. Its the Collection 2000 Shimmer Shades in Way To Glow. I picked this up in my local Boots months back. I didn't have high hopes for it being that it was so cheap but everything was on 3 for 2 so I bought it, & I'm so glad I did. This has become an everyday necessity for me, I just cant be without it!

Shade: Way To Glow

These pictures really don't show the true beauty of this product! This can be used as a highlighter or a blush. I use this just as a highlighter! I take a little bit of the creamy shade on my Real Techniques contour brush and apply it to my cheek bones, down my nose and a little on the chin because I am so pale it just looks beautiful on the skin. If I'm looking for a warmer glow I just swirl my brush around all shades and apply it to my cheeks and it give me a beautiful warm glow. I think this product is amazing and it goes a long way. I have been using the same one of I bought almost a year ago and I have only now started to hit pan. I will for certain be repurchasing this and I recommend you all give it a try!

Thank you for reading I appreciate it!
 Take care, Martina xxx

Clinique All about the eyes eye cream

So a few months back I mentioned in a haul post that I had bought the Clinique all about the eyes eye cream. I bought it in hope that it would sort out my terrible fine lines under my eyes. As I had read many mixed reviews I was sceptical when buying it, but I said sure I might as well buy and try instead of always wondering if it would work. I have to admit it was more the price that bothered me. I was trying to justify spending the thirty four euro this costs on an eye cream. I think its a bit steep for an eye cream but then Clinique are a very trusted high end brand. Anyway so I will tell you what Clinique claims this eye cream does:

''Clinique's All About Eyes moisture-rich formula diminishes the look of under eye circles, shadows, puffs and fine lines immediately and over time. Helps boost natural collagen production. De-puffs with calming botanicals. Even strengthens skin's moisture barrier against common irritants.''

Now getting to my thoughts on this product! As I said above I bought this in hope it would reduce my fine lines. Sadly it did not reduce them but in the time I have been using it I have not got any new fine lines, and of that I'm thankful. I know its the cream that has insured I have not got anymore as I have not changed anything else in my life. I still get the same amount of sleep, I drink the same amount of water and eat the same foods.

Another thing I have enjoyed alot with this cream is it leave under my eyes feeling so hydrated and smooth and the darkness is less noticeable compared to when I wasn't using it. Also I find my concealer doesn't crease or set into lines as bad as it does without using this underneath it.

So all in all I would recommend this eye cream if you are looking for any eye cream to help with darkness and to keep away fine lines. Or maybe to just keep under your eyes hydrated and smooth.

Have a nice day where ever you are!

No7 Eyeshadow sticks (Midnight Enchantment)

Hia Ladies today I want to share with you a little bargain I picked up today. I went into Boots to pick up some lady items and when I went up to the till I noticed a clearance basket so I went over and had a nose and I am delighted I did, as I found these two beauties for three euro each (Don't you just love when you find amazing bargains). I know these pictures arent the best as I took them late at night but these are truely beautiful. This review is more of a first impressions as today was the first time I wore them and I will update this review if I find that I need to add something that I didnt already notice about them. But so far I'm in love with them. They did not crease on me but I had two faced shadow insurance eye primer on so that could have helped. The are easy to blend but they do set and once they set they arent moving but you do have plenty of time to blend them out. I do think your fingers work best at blending these out. I havent used a brush but I would say that they wouldnt blend as well with a brush. I wore these for six hours straight and I had no movement or creasing and I wore these all over my lid and into the crease and under my eye, and my eyes water alot and these still didnt budge which I was extremely please with. I think these would be perfect for someone who likes a quick, easy and worry free product but still like to look put together and likes shimmer.

I think the outer packaging on these are quite cute and simple.

The actual packaging on the product itself is really sturdy and the top clicks nicely so you dont have to worry about it coming loose in your handbag and fluff getting all over the shadow stick.

All you have to do is roll up the shadow stick a little bit as a little of this product goes a long way. There is also a good amount of product in these sticks which means they will last a long time.

As you can see these are metallic and have a lovely shimmer to them. The picture above doesnt do them juctice they are in fact beautiful and how tiny shimmer and you get no fall out what so ever with these which is another plus for me. I have the in the shade Purple Metallic (top swatch) and Grey Metallic (bottom swatch)

So there you have my first impressions on these two products. I will update these pictures soon to better quaility and add any more details needed soon. I just wanted to get this up so that if anyone wants to try them you could get them now while the 7.50 voucher is going on in Boots as I am sure loads of you ladies have one of those to use up.

Thanks for reading and the support it means alot,

love Martina xxx

Wet n Wild eyeshadow trio review

Hia Ladies so today I have a review on this little beauty my lovely friend Lauren sent me. I was so excited when I recieved this as living in Ireland Wet n Wild products arent available to me easily. I could order online but as I'm on a budget shipping costs can be some what of a bummer for me as they can be expensive. But any how, as I said I was delighted to get this and I am so thankful to Lauren for sending this to me.

Okay so getting to the review. My first impressions of this was how well its packaged for such an affordable product. Its plastic but its hard good quaility plastic and its very sturdy. Also as you can see from the second picture below, they give you instructions on where to put the colours (although I never follow these instructions I think its a nice touch).

It also comes with sponge applicators

The shadows themselves are beautiful and the pigmentation is really good for such an inexpensive product. I found that they showed up more vibrant when you use a primer, I used my Two Faced shadow insurance but any primer would do. Elf do a good one and its very inexpensive. I really love these shadows and I found them a tiny bit tough to blend out but I think thats only because I'm used to using my naked palettes so much and there shadows are extremely easy to blend. All in all I would for sure pick up more of these shadows. For anyone one a budget these are perfect. They have a wide range of colours and palettes and although I have only tried this Trio, I have heard from trusted beauty gurus that they are worth buying.

The top row of swatches is without a primer the row below is with a primer

So there you have it, thats my review on this pretty trio. I would highly recommend it. Thanks for reading and please let me know if there is any product you would like to see me review and I will try and do so :)

Love always,

Updated Tweezerman eyelash curlers

Hia Ladies, so today I'm here with a quick review on these Tweezerman eyelash curlers. I bought the Deluxe eyelash curlers in Boots. I'm sorry I don't remember how much they were exactly but they weren't cheap anyway. I had high hopes for these as they were pricey.

But sadly these just do nothing for my eyelashes, I know it could be just my eyelashes because there short and straight but these just dont to anything for me they curl them but after a few minutes the curl just disappears and I am left with straight eyelashes like I began with but I honestly think its just my eyelashes and I just thought I would share my experience so that anyone with short lashes like me doesnt waste their money on these because unless you have long lashes these dont do anything for you lashes. I used these on my friend was has long lashes and they gave her the most beautiful curl which last well but on me they curl for all of two seconds. (Oh how I wish I had long beautiful lashes)

Another thing I noticed with these is that they pinch me, and I have tried being gentle as I can with them but I always end up pinching myself due to me always having to try to get right up to the root as close as possible so that I get the best curl possible but as I said about the curl on my friend they didnt pinch her even when she used them herself. Also they open wide enough for me. I'd like an eyelash curler that would open a but more so that I can see clearly whether I am getting each lash in but with these they don't open wide enough for me to clearly see if I am getting my tiny lashes in. I am just not a big fan of these because of my pathetic lashes and I will be doing alot of review reading on other brand eyelash curlers before I buy again so that I get the best ones for short lashes. Sorry for those who have these and love them, they just werent for me! But I wouldnt not reccommend them as they are sturdy and good quaility the only people I wouldnt reccommend them too is those with short lashes obviously.

Whats your favourite eyelash curler? Please let me know! Thanks for reading!

Lots of love,

My lipstick Collection (drugstore)

Hiya Ladies, this post is on my lipstick collection. First off I just want to say that I dont have a huge collection nor do I have any high in lipsticks but I do love my collection and I think if you really look through your local Chemist or Drugstore you can find amazing lipsticks! This post is picture heavy and Ive made the pictures as big as I could so you can see them better. I hope you enjoy this and let me know of any lipsticks you think I should try or what your favourite lipsticks is!

Here is my first lipstick well lip butter actually. My lip butter is in the shade Cotton Candy. I really like this product as it makes me lips feel really moisturized and its so soft its like butter on your lips. The colour pay off is good for a lip butter as its name suggests its a candy pink but it leave such a beautiful sheen to your lips and is sort of multi coloured in different lighting. This lip butter is from the Revlon colourburst range.

This is another lip butter but as you can tell its from Loreal. I like this one but I'm not as in love with it as I am with my Revlon lip butter. I think maybe its because of the shade I choose. Its more like a clear lipstick with a hint of baby pink. Like the Revlon one it feels like butter on your lips and is very hydrating. I think I need to try a different shade. Let me know if you own any and what shade you think I might like.

This lipstick is from the brand UNE. I didnt buy this myself, my future sister in law got it for me. And I have to say its my most worn lipstick. Simply because its the same shade as my natural lips and I like that when I do my everyday makeup as I try to look as natural as possible but I like a polished look so this lipstick is great. Its also hydrating but not to  the same extent to the lip butters but it wont dry your lips out and it doesnt cling to dry patches on your lips. The only thing Im not a huge fan about is the smell of this lipstick it has that old granny lipstick smell but its not strong so I put up with it, and once its on your lips its fine.

Here are two 17 lipsticks from their mirror shine range. These lipsticks remind me alot of Revlons and L'oreals lip butters as there very moisturizing and feel like butter on your lips. The colour pay off on these lipsticks are good but not intense. I really like these as there more of your lips but better. I have them in the shades Belle and Beehive. I really like both shades but Bella is another favourite of mine as its another shade which is near to my own natural lip shade. One thing I will say bad about these is that they are not a good lipstick for being in your hand bag as do melt as you can see from my picture below.

On the left (Belle) and on the right (Beehive)

Here you have my natural collection lipstick I own three. I think for the price of these lipsticks there amazing and so pigmented. They have a good shade range and in Boots you can but all three for 7.50 or mix and match and get any 3 Natural Collection products for 7.50. Which is amazing value. These do tend to stick to any dry patches on the lips but other than that there amazing. I also love there lip glosses, I own them all.

Apple Blossom, Coral Shimmer and Pink Orchid

I'm a huge fan of the Kate Rimmel lipstick Collection. These lipsticks are so pigmented and creamy! They just glide on and leave a nice sheen to the lips. And the are quite long lasting. I have the two neutral shades. These are the perfect nudes in my opinion.

Shade 03 and Shade 08

Here are two more Rimmel Lipsticks which are also very pigmented and long lasting. I recieved Indulgence of my beautiful friend Lauren and I love it! Its so bright and beautiful for summer. Pink blush is the second one and its a beautiful baby pink. I love this with simple eyes as it is very bright.

Indulgence and Pink Blush

So there you have it my entire lipstick collection! I know its not much but I love it all the same. I really want to try some higher end lipsticks, so please let me know what your favourite high end lipstick is. Also I am sorry if some of the pictures arent true to colour as I took these at night and was only using a normal 60 watt light bulb as lightening. Please let me know what other post you would like to see from me. I love your feedback. Thanks for reading!
Lots of love,

My Soap and Glory must haves and Review!!

Hia Ladies, today I just wanted to share with you all products I've been loving from Soap and Glory and that I highly recommend. First off I just want to mention the packaging, I think it's so beautiful and I love how it's all pink and girly. I also love the cute names the create for their products! I'm in love with three S & G products since Xmas. My fiancées sister bought me the S & G Xmas case which came with a load of their products in a cute pink bag! Which is reusable and I store all my skin care products in it. Okay to start of the review! Oh and this blog post will be picture heavy.

The first product I could not live without is the righteous butter. It's a body butter and it smells amazing like all the other soap and glory products. I found this to be extremely moisturising and it's a nice thick cream which I like as although it takes longer to rub in it moisturises my skin extremely well and I have very dry skin so I was quite impressed. This cream to me is very luxurious and I will 100% be repurchasing it. I am not sure how much it is as I got it as a set but I've had mine since Xmas and still have some left which is very good for me plus you get a huge 300ml pot. (All pictures are at the end of this blog post)

The next soap and glory product I've been in love with is the Heel Genius foot cream. It come in a 125ml tube. The product itself has a green tint to it and smells a tad bit minty but still has some of the well know soap and glory scent. This foot cream has done wonders for my feet. It has left my feet feeling baby soft and my heels are no longer dry or hard now their soft and smooth. This is also a thickish cream and a little goes a long way. I also have the same tube from Xmas time and I use it at least twice a week. I will need to get more soon but it's now a staple In my skin care routine.

The third product I've been loving is the hand food hand cream from soap and glory. I've tried loads of hand creams and have never liked one until I came across this. All the others were sticky and I hate that in a hand cream. But this one dries into your hands beautifully and leave them feeling silky soft. The hand cream comes in a 125ml tube and I've had this one since Xmas and its still not half way through the tube a little goes a long way with this as it has a nice not to thick not to watery consistency. This also has that well know soap and glory scent that I love.

So their you have it my must have soap and glory products! I still haven't got through all of the ones from Xmas so there might me more soap and glory products I need to let you guys know about when I do. One thing is for sure I'm very impressed with all these products and I am very interested in trying their cosmetics and facial skincare. Thanks for reading and please scroll down to view some pictures of the products mentioned! X

As you can see the righteous Butter is a thick cream and will deeply moisturize

This picture is of the Heel Genius foot cream, as you can see it has a slight green tint to it. It smells a little minty but nothing to strong but still has a hint of that soap and glory scent. This cream leaves your feet feeling soft and silky and fresh! And a little goes a long way!!!!

Your hands will feel silky smooth and soft and feel deeply moisturized with this cream.

So there you have it thats the end of my review! Let me know if you have tried any other soap and glory products that you think I may enjoy! Hope you found this helpful. Thanks for reading :)

love always,

Updated: How I prep my skin for dry/comination skin for foundation

Hi Ladies so as you can tell from the title I have dry/cominbation skin which is sensitive. Here is how I prep it before I apply my foundation:

-First I wet my skin and then I take my Simple Kind to skin facial wash gel and massage it in and rince and pat dry with a clean towel.

-Secondly I apply my moisturizer I use Simples Rich Moisturizier. It moisturizes well and doesn't irritate my skin. I use this all over my face apart from on my eye lids and under my eyes. For my eyes and under eyes I use the Simple Anti Wrinkle eye cream. I dab it on my eyelids and up to the brow bone and under my eyes. (I use anti wrinkle just to prevent aging)

-Thirdly I apply my primer, I switch between two. I either use my Gosh primer or my No7 colour calming primer if my redness is bad. I apply my primer all around my face apart for my eye lids but I do apply it under my eyes. Then on my eyelids I will either use my Two Faced shadow insurance or my Urban Decay primer potion although I prefer the Two faced shadow insurance.

So there you have it how I prep my skin for foundation. I find that Simple is a great band if you suffer from sensitive skin. Its gentle but works, also its affordable.

Thanks for reading!
Take care,

Updated L'oreal infallible foundation Review

Hia ladies so today I am going to review the L'oreal infallible foundation. First off I just wanted to let you know that their are two L'oreal infallible foundations. One with a pump and one with a brush which you twist to get the product out from the brush. Also the shades between the two infallible foundations vary so if you are currently using one and want to try the other make sure you swatch it as when I was buying mine I noticed that the one with the brush in 15 poreclain was a good shade darker than the one with the pump in shade 15 porcelain. Also the one with the brush I believe has 24hr lasting power and the one with the pump has 16hr lasting power. Anyway onto the review!

Colour/Coverage:
For those of you ladies with super pale skin like me you will love this foundation. Its by far the palest foundation I have ever found in the Drugstore/Chemist that wasn't too pink. I found the coverage to be on the medium side but it is buildable.

Skin Types/SPF:
L'oreal suggest that this foundation is for all skin types. I can only speak for myself and I have dry skin. This worked ok for me. It didn't cling to my dry patches however it does make my pores stand out. This foundation also has an SPF of 15 so beware of that if your getting your pictures taking or you may get that white cast look

Application:
I found this foundation easy to blend for the most part but if you need to add coverage on certain areas I would suggest dabbing it on with a flat top kabuki as it tends to wipe off the layer underneath otherwise.

Finish:
I found this to have a semi Matt finish it left a little bit of a dewy look to the skin but nothing to worry about if you have oily skin I think if you set it with a powder it would be fine. The only thing I really dislike about the finish of this foundation is that it made my pores super noticeable.

Does it last up to 16hrs?
I certainly wouldn't say this would last 16 hrs unless you can spend hours not touching your face or eating. It transfers terribly and that's even after I set it with powder. Once you touch your face it moves. Which is really annoying! It also transfers on to clothes so I would go hugging anybody LOL.

Would I recommend this foundation:
Personally I wouldn't recommend this foundation at all. The first time I applied it I thought it was nice but I had only used it at night just to go to the cinema, then I decided one day to wear it during the day and my pores looked terrible. It transferred onto my fiances clothes when I hugged him (he was impressed lol).

How much does it cost and where can I get it?
You can get this foundation in any boots and most chemists it costs 18 euro and 19 cent.

Pictures below:
